Not only does the Barista Touch Impress have Auto Milq but the steam wand also operates in Manual Mode for more direct control over milk texture and temperature. The Auto Milq has some guardrails built in that prevent scalding but still provide a good result on temp and texture for various types of milk. The manual mode overcomes those temperature objections for those that like a 160 degree latte as an example. It s sort of the best of both worlds, "Auto Milq" and manual milk in the same steam wand.
